Sega Rally has been delayed until next year ? January 14th to be precise. The reason for this is that Sega wasn't happy with the Windows-based conversion of the title that was shown at Tokyo Game Show. At the 11th Hour, responsibility for the title was handed over to AM1, who has reportedly been working 24/7 in shifts to port the original arcade machine code. Unfortunately they couldn't finish the project in time for launch ? hardly surprisingly considering the magnitude of the task ? and the title will now ship next year. While this is a pain in the ass, I think this is a great thing. I'd much prefer to wait a couple of months to play an arcade perfect version of Sega Rally, rather than have a crappy PC port in November. Sonic has also been delayed a couple of weeks and is now scheduled for a December 23 release. No reasons have been given for the delay, but obviously the game still needs some finishing touches that couldn't be done before deadline.
Finally, Blue Stinger has been delayed for more polishing (and hopefully to fix the camera problems evident in the Tokyo Game Show demo of the title). It'll appear on the same day as Sega Rally ? Jan 14.
