David Channell

David Channell (born 25 August 1940; age 84) is an actor who played an Angosian senator in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "The Hunted". As a background actor he received no credit for his appearance and was identified by the name tag of his costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1](X)

Channell has been an actor since 1966. He played a secret service agent in Independence Day (1996, with Brent Spiner, Bill Smitrovich, Frank Novak, Leland Orser, Mirron E. Willis, Raphael Sbarge, Carlos LaCamara, Tim Kelleher, Jana Marie Hupp, Robert Pine, Bill Thomas Miller, Derek Webster, Randy Oglesby, Anthony Crivello, Frank Welker, Erick Avari, Pam Blackwell, Greg Bronson, Ralph Moratz, and Tracey Walter).
