Genesis sector

The Enterprise over Genesis
The Genesis sector was a region of space in the Beta Quadrant. This subsector was located within the Mutara sector, a region of space in the Beta Quadrant. and consisted of a star, an unnamed ringed planet, and the planet Genesis itself.
In 2285, the USS Enterprise dropped out of warp as it entered the Genesis sector on its way to the Genesis planet. At this point of time, it was also detected by Kruge's Bird-of-Prey. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, ST: "Ephraim and Dot")
This subsector's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of Spock's last known position in the Mutara sector (DIS: "Light and Shadows") as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Discovery episode "An Obol for Charon".
