Golana melon
Half a Golana melon.
Golana melons were a small species of melon native to the planet Golana. They had an orange skin resembling a grapefruit, dark green flesh, and a pale orange core.
Chief Miles O'Brien offered half a Golana melon to his daughter Molly in 2374 to placate the feral child, who had come back after spending several years alone back in time. (DS9: "Time's Orphan")
The melon may have been an African horned cucumber. [1]
