Kaplan family

The Kaplan family was a Human family living in the 23rd century. One of its members was Lieutenant Kaplan.

After Kaplan was killed on Gamma Trianguli VI, his commanding officer Captain James T. Kirk lamented his loss, stating he knew the Kaplan family. (TOS: "The Apple")
