Shango's liftoff

This vessel was designed by the engineers and scientists at the Argosy Foundation. According to the January 21, 2024 edition of the Los Angeles Times, it "was robust enough to withstand the radiation and sensitive enough to gather the data needed to investigate Europa's environment."

It was launched in 2024 for a three to four-year journey to Europa, where it carried a twin payload of a lander and an automated probe. The lander transported five astronauts to the Europan surface, while the automated subsurface probe melted through the surface and explored the global subsurface ocean for life.
