Starbase 27
Starbase 27, abbreviated as SB27, was a Federation starbase that was administered by Starfleet. This starbase was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant and was near the planet Omicron Ceti III.
On stardate 3417, the colonists of the Omicron colony were evacuated to this facility by the USS Enterprise on the orders of Admiral Komack. (TOS: "This Side of Paradise")
This starbase was only mentioned in dialogue.
Unnamed Planet, "Ethics"
The unnamed planet seen in TNG: "Ethics" was identified as Starbase 27 in the script of the episode, but this detail was cut from the filmed episode.
In the second edition of Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library (Alpha Quadrant: Local Space Extract), Starbase 27 was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
