A teenager, teenage, or teen was an individual during adolescence, older than a tween, but younger than an adult. Puberty usually occurred in the teenage years.
In 2270, when accidentally transported to a reverse universe where people grew younger instead of older, Robert April and his wife were the only adults left on the bridge of the USS Enterprise while the rest of the bridge crew had de-aged into teenagers or children. On Rutia IV during the 2360s, an Ansata teenager planted a bomb which destroyed a shuttlebus carrying sixty school children. (TNG: "The High Ground")
In 2367, William T. Riker identified the cadet crew of a Talarian observation craft as being five boys, all teens. (TNG: "Suddenly Human")
According to Jason Vigo in 2370, he had been "in trouble" since he was a teenager, including lying, stealing and using other people. (TNG: "Bloodlines")
The nephew of Marla Gilmore was a teenager by 2375. (VOY: "Equinox")
