USS Inaieu
The USS Inaieu (NCC-75018) was a Federation Sovereign-class starship that was in service to Starfleet in the early 25th century.
In 2401, the Inaieu participated in Frontier Day celebrations near Sol Station. Along with the rest of the fleet, it was seized by the Borg Collective after its younger crew were assimilated by a Borg signal transmitted via Jack Crusher. (PIC: "Vox")
The name and registry of this ship were provided by Dave Blass. He intended it as a nod to the USS Inaieu (β) from Diane Duane's novels The Wounded Sky and My Enemy, My Ally. [1] [2]
In Duane's novels, the ship was named after King Inaieu of Deneb V.
