USS Musashi
The USS Musashi (NCC-74660) was a Federation Sovereign-class starship operated by Starfleet in the 24th and 25th centuries.
The Musashi fought in the Dominion War. In 2375, it was involved in a series of complicated trades for engineering equipment orchestrated by Ensign Nog of Deep Space 9. Nog traded an induction modulator to the Musashi in exchange for a phaser emitter. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")
In 2401, the Musashi was outside Sol Station when travel pod 05 carried Captain William T. Riker and Admiral Jean-Luc Picard to the USS Titan. (PIC: "The Next Generation")

Background information[]
According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 59, this ship was "named for the Japanese dreadnought that sunk in the Sibuyan Sea on October 25, 1944 during the Battle of Leyte Gulf." IJN Musashi had been one of two Yamato-class battleships, being the largest ever built. The in World War II likewise destroyed sister vessel IJN Yamato had already been endowed with her USS Yamato Starfleet counterpart previously.
The registry of this ship was provided by Dave Blass. [1]
Apocrypha[]
According to War Stories, Book 1, the Musashi was destroyed during the Dominion War, at a point after "Treachery, Faith and the Great River".
Star Trek Online depicted the Musashi as a Galaxy-class starship with registry NCC-71809. The vessel was still in service in 2409, and was destroyed as part of the Klingon Empire player tutorial.
