- Hebrew הִגִּיעַ is typically used with לְ־ (l'-, “to”) or ־ָה (-a, “-ward”, dative case), similar to הָלַךְ (halákh, “to walk, to go”): “הלך/הגיע למדינה”, “הלך/הגיע לבית” (or “הלך/הגיע הביתה”). This contrasts with English arrive or be: “be/arrive in a country”, “be/arrive at home” (or “be/arrive home”).
