رَبَطَ (rabaṭa) I (non-past يَرْبُطُ (yarbuṭu), verbal noun رَبْط (rabṭ))

      warabaṭnā ʕalā qulūbihim ʔiḏ qāmū faqālū rabbunā rabbu s-samāwāti wālʔarḍi
      And We strengthened their hearts when they stood up and declared, “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth.

      لَوْلَا أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

      lawlā ʔan rrabaṭnā ʕalā qalbihā litakūna mina l-muʔminīna
      had We not reassured her heart in order for her to have faith ˹in Allah’s promise˺.
