Paul Kuttner, 1939 |
In 1939, Marie Fraenkels grandson Paul
Kuttner, then 16 years of age, escaped from his native Berlin to England with a Kindertransport
(children's transport). His story has been reported in articles and web
presentations (http://www.kindertransport.org/memkutt.htm),
and data about him and his family are being kept by organizations such
as the Steven Spielberg Shoah Foundation, Yad Vashem (Jerusalem) and the
Imperial War Museum (London). He currently lives in New York City, USA,
and is a journalist and author. One of his works is the book The Holocaust
: Hoax or History? : The Book of Answers to Those Who Would Deny the Holocaust
(New York: Dawnwood Press, 1996). The webmaster and translator of Ms. Kramers
stories wishes to thank Mr. Kuttner for making valuable historical information available
for presentation at this site.
