Femmes
Femmes was a club in downtown Los Angeles, California that catered exclusively to female clientele. Alison Blaire, desperate to find work after being outed as a mutant[1] and unable to find a job, sought employment there as a waitress and was hired on the spot. During his inaugural shift, she was forced to service a table of the Racine Ramjets, a roller derby team who was disorderly and aggressively rude. Eventually, one of the Ramjets members attacked Alison and a fight broke out with Alison coming out on top. After the fight, she decided to stop working at the club to avoid the unwanted excitement.[2]
