Peter Parker. However, twenty years later,
Iron Lad delivered the spider to Peter in conjunction with a Picotech Stealth Suit that he created,
[34] based on his
father's last breakthrough,
[35] to protect his identity.
In terms of Stark tech, the Picotech Stealth Suit is described by Otto Octavius as Stark 2.0, being highly adaptable and transformative,[36] while Tony Stark described it as revolutionary and beyond anything he knows how to make.[35] The suit works in the same network as other Stark tech, but can work independently and is subjected to network commands.[36] Because of this, the suit can be shut down, revealing the user’s identity if ever found another person with access to that network.[37] Likewise, the suit has an A.I. that can be used for combat analysis, life support, and any kind of higher-function problem-solving, needing to give it a profile to map to, acting as its personality or base level consciousness. To turn the A.I. off, the suit would need to be rebooted. The suit is also able to copy its user brain patterns.[36]
The suit is stored in the form of a sphere called Pico Shell, expanding itself through the body when Peter comes into contact with it.[35] In the same way, Peter is able to make the mask or parts of it disappear or reappear. The suit has integrated Web-Shooters,[38] and its design and color can be changed at Peter’s will.[37]
After receiving the suit and his first fight against Shocker, Peter’s identity was discovered by his daughter May, who didn’t like how scary the suit was.[38] Because of this, Peter with May’s help, changed the colors and design of the suit, changing it from full black to blue and red, with webs and a spider in the chest. While keeping watch over the city, Peter observed the fight between the Green Goblin and a Bullseye. After helping defeat the Bullseye, the Green Goblin connected his armor to the Picotech Suit, deactivating it and revealing Peter’s identity. However, the Goblin revealed his identity and made and alliance with Peter.[37]
Harry took Peter to Doctor Octavius, who explained the differences between their suits and what they were capable of doing, taking a sample of the Picotech to study it. After deciding to activate the A.I. and test the suits performances, at his request, Octavius made the suit copy Peter's brain patterns to use as its base, creating the Spider-Man A.I..[36] The day of his children birthday, Peter left the Picotech Suit in home, discovering that the A.I. is active and capable of speaking even when the suit is not in use.[35]
Octavius searched for a way to release the suits of the Stark frequency to avoid for them to be tracked by Tony Stark, being unable to find a way to do it with the Picotech Suit due to how advance it was, offering him a new armor. However, Peter refused, deciding to leave the Picotech Suit at home and taking Otto's solution of a spandex suit equipped with Web-Shooters designed by Octavius, to use while on missions with Harry.[39]
