Biography
X-Man
Recruited
Cyclops was a mutant who was recruited by Charles Xavier into the X-Men, consisting of him, Beast, Jean Grey and Storm. Logan also became a member, but acted like he never wanted to be part of the team. Cyclops and the rest of the team attempted to get Logan to wear a suit on multiple occasions, but he rejected it every time.[1]
Massacre at the X-Mansion
One day, Cyclops and the X-Men were at the X-Mansion, their base of operations, while Logan was at a bar drinking. A group of human vigilantes with anti-mutant sentiment suddenly arrived at the mansion, overwhelming and killing every mutant residing there, including Cyclops.[1]
Legacy
Logan returned to the X-Mansion to find Cyclops and the rest of his friends dead. He became enraged and began a vengeful killing spree, murdering people who were and were not involved in the massacre of his teammates. Eventually, Logan calmed down, but by the time he did, the X-Men name had been tarnished and Logan had been shunned from society, leading to him becoming deeply depressed.
However, Deadpool arrived in Logan's universe and recruited him to help him save the former's world. The two were successful, and Logan moved to Deadpool's universe, finally getting closure for the deaths of his friends.[1]
