Bruce Lanoil (b. July 5, 1960) is a puppeteer, actor and voice actor who has been in several Muppet productions and other Henson Company projects.
He performed The Cat in the Hat and Fox in Socks in the first season of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. He performed Lindy in the direct-to-video specials Muppets on Wheels and Things That Fly. Additionally, he performed Mo Frackle on Family Feud and Stevenson the Parrot for the Muppet Treasure Island CD-ROM game.
He worked as a puppeteer on many Creature Shop projects, including Dinosaurs, Dr. Dolittle, Jack Frost, and Cats & Dogs. After the sale of the Muppets to Disney, Lanoil continued to work with Henson on several digital puppetry projects including Frances (Father Badger) and Sid the Science Kid (facial puppetry and voice of Philbert the dog) and its movie spin-off (Bobbybot). He also performed on the pilot Teeny Tiny Dogs and the Henson Alternative productions No, You Shut Up! and The Happytime Murders.
Outside of the Henson company, he was an on-set animation reference puppeteer and voice actor for the movies Monkeybone and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (as Pepe LePew). He has been the voice match for Timon (Nathan Lane) from The Lion King in Kingdom Hearts II and Disney's "Wild About Safety" shorts. He was heard in the film Spaced Invaders (as Pez, one of the aliens), and other puppetry credits include The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth.
