They agree that people aren't the only ones who eat; animals do too... Song Joe Raposo sings "Eating" while animals eat. Muppets Ernie sings "If I Knew You Were Coming I'd've Baked a Cake" when a hungry Cookie Monster demands a cookie.

(First: Episode 0016) SCENE 2 Bob encounters Big Bird looking at a large egg, expecting a dancing lizard to hatch out. Bob explains that birds come out of eggs, and points him to the next film … Animation A clay bird hatches out of an egg, grows as it eats, and flies away. SCENE 2
cont'd Big Bird insists that the egg he's watching is a special egg. Bob shows him another film of eggs. Animation Three clay birds hatch from eggs and grow as they eat. Upon reaching maturity, each produces a different bird call. SCENE 2
cont'd Big Bird insists that Bob watch this one egg very carefully … Cartoon "Egg Chant": A girl skips rope as a boy sits with an egg on his knee. They recite an alphabet poem together. The egg hatches and a dancing lizard emerges.

cont'd Big Bird boasts about the dancing lizard shown in the previous cartoon and admits he knew about birds coming out of eggs all along. After all, he hatched from one himself. Big Bird walks off, singing and dancing "Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair". Bob concedes, "Well, I guess the yolk's on me." Film Apes play at the zoo.

Meanwhile, two groups of Muppets behind him pass by; one cheering for their winning team, and the others crying for the losing team. Cartoon "Poverty U" -- A figure gives a salute to the letter U, and presents the letter with a bouquet of flowers.
