SCENE 1 Bert wants to show David and Maria the pigeon snapshots he's just had processed at the drugstore. Instead, the two brush him off and Maria calls his interests "square." Bert decides to take pride in this and sings "I'm Square."
Film Number Three Ball Film: A red ball follows a rollercoaster-like track through checkpoints (each, a set of three) that are counted in voiceover. At the end, the ball turns into a cherry which is devoured by a girl.

(First: Episode 0619) Muppets Benny and his boss have been waiting for Lefty for a long time. Benny wonders how they will know when it's Lefty at the door, so he reminds him that Lefty will knock three times - their secret knock to enter their hideout. Lefty forgets the number, and has to be hinted from his boss what the number of knocks are to gain access, finally giving the correct amount. When they let him in, the boss reprimands him for his poor memory, and warns him that he'll be in big trouble if he forgets again. To test his memory, the boss and Benny lock themselves out, telling him not to let them in until they give the secret knock. Despite the boss' warning, Lefty forgets once again, and finally having enough, he fearfully runs out the back door, leaving the other two stranded outside yelling, "Let us in!" as they angrily pound on the door trying to get in.
(First: Episode 0722) SCENE 2 Cookie Monster comes into Hooper's Store and passes on a box of cookies. He states that his monster doctor has placed him on a "one-a-day cookie" diet. He asks David to set out three cookies - one for today, tomorrow, and the next day. After he eats today's cookie, Cookie Monster begins to think that he might forget to eat his daily cookie tomorrow and the next day, thus ruining the flow of the diet. He eats them both now and then, with his diet taken care of for the next few days, he orders a box of cookies. Cartoon Numbers from 1 to 20 line up, but 17 is missing.

Muppets When Maurice, a hapless casanova, puts an Anything Muppet woman's head together, he tells her that he loves her, but it turns out she doesn't love him. He then proceeds to take her head apart, bit by bit, as he sings "I Want to Hold Your Ear" (as well as eyes, nose, tooth, and hair). After she walks off in a huff, he notices to his shock that the parts he set aside have attached themselves to the tablecloth, who thinks he's kinda cute.

SCENE 3 Grover is training to be a snowshoe salesman and his instruction book advises him to practice his selling techniques with a friend. He recruits Big Bird to help, asking him to pretend to be an uninterested customer whom he will win over. Big Bird plays the part well as Grover makes his pitch. He makes the sale by describing some alternate uses for the snowshoe (such as a tennis racquet). However, Big Bird won't give up the sample snowshoe; he really wants to buy it. Cartoon "Lowercase n"
