Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 Mr. Handford is helping a customer at Hooper's Store and welcomes the viewer. He tells the viewer that every day Telly Monster comes to Hooper's for lunch and orders the same thing, a cheese sandwich. On cue, Telly comes in and asks Mr. Handford for the cheese sandwich. The other customer (Matt Vogel) looks at it and wants the same, but with lettuce.
Telly is wary of adding lettuce, afraid that if he doesn’t like it, he might fall down off the stool, roll out of Hooper's, and hit Lexine on her pogo stick who will fly into Oscar's trash can. Mr. Handford tells him that trying new foods is the only way to find out what you like or don't like. Telly decides to try it, but asks Mr. Handford to tell Lexine to get off her pogo stick. Song "You Don't Have to Be a Grizzly" to eat some honey!

SCENE 2 Telly's sandwich is ready, and Mr. Handford tells him you can put anything on a sandwich. Telly is about to eat until he sees that the new customer (John Kennedy) has a ham sandwich. Now Telly wants a ham sandwich with cheese and lettuce. SCENE 2 cont'd When Telly is about to take his first bite, a customer (Joey Mazzarino) comes in and he wants a turkey sandwich with onions. Now Telly wants a turkey and onion sandwich with cheese, lettuce and ham. Animation In stop-motion, sandwich ingredients square-dance in a ring and arrange themselves into a sandwich, which gets a bite taken out of it in a refrigerator.

The sandwich is now too large for one monster to eat, so Telly shares it with a crowd of other monsters. They all enjoy the meal, but leave a big mess in Hooper's. Animation Cecille sings "I Want to Be Me."

However, at the same time, another customer (Carmen Osbahr) orders the same thing, but with toppings. Telly is amazed at all the things he could put on his ice cream as she names them off. Mr. Handford, realizing what will happen, quickly announces the sponsors and the status of Slimey's spaceship before he leaves for a break.
