	COLD OPEN	Elmo sets up today's theme of the alphabet. He's surprised to hear that the Count enjoys the alphabet, but only because he can count the letters. (First: Episode 5130)
	SCENE 1	Elmo is accompanied by the letters A, B, and... not C. The three look around for the letter C, until G arrives to announce that C is gone. The group of letters then get going to "C" what's going on...
	SCENE 1 cont'd	They arrive at C's house, and spot the letter tired as can be. C explains that making two different sounds is exhausting. G then tells C to take the day off.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	By Hooper's Store, Grover serves Mr. Johnson what was supposed to be corn, but instead turned out to be a horn. Mr. Johnson instead orders a carrot, but proceeds to be served a parrot.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Meanwhile, the inside of the store is in havoc as all of Alan's cake turns into a rake, cups turn into pups, cans turn into fans, and his "Cold Food" sign now reads "Old Food." Alan, Elmo, and Abby then see Nina, whose car is mysteriously now a jar. Elmo then realizes what's going on: everything that has been replaced starts with the letter C. Elmo knows that the other letters went to find C, so he and Abby go to find the other letters...
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Elmo and Abby spot A, and ask where B went. A explains that B is busy substituting for C in the word cat (now bat, and one flies over them). Elmo asks where C must have gone, and G explains that C's on vacation. In the nick of time, the letter C comes back from her vacation, ready as can be. The bat that flew over them then turns back into a cat.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Everything is back to what it used to be, except for the parrot. Mr. Johnson wonders why it hasn't turned back into a carrot yet, and Grover reveals it was never a carrot at all.
	Insert	I Wonder, What If, Let's Try Brixton and Ellie play a rhyming game.
	Muppets	Elmo and friends sing and clap as they find out the letter of the day - A. (First: Episode 5128)
	Celebrity	Haim sings "Sesame Street Alphabetically."
	SCENE 2	Elmo, Abby, Ji-Young, and Tamir sing the alphabet song. The sounds of the Foodie Truck then arrive...
	Muppets	Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck Estella loves the alphabet, so she orders Mexican alphabet soup (sopa de letras). Cookie Monster gets all the ingredients ready, but leaves out the alphabet pasta. Gonger gets mad, but Cookie reveals that he was just hiding the pasta and that they still have some. Gonger asks why he hid the pasta, and Cookie explains that it was so Gonger wouldn't notice he ate all the tomatoes. The two head to the tomato farm...
	Muppets	Elmo and Abby pose as astronauts and sing about finding the number of the day by counting Martians. Today, there are 8. (First: Episode 5132)

	Cartoon	Elmo & Tango's Mysterious Mysteries Elmo buys an alphabet coloring book from a store, but when he gets ready to color with Tango, he realizes there's a hole in his grocery bag and his book is gone.
	SCENE 3	With the letter C, Elmo and Abby sign off. The letter C mentions that she didn't know so many words started with her, and Elmo and Abby then describe their letter friend with words starting with the letter C.
