Simpsons star in BBC radio comedy

One of the voices of animated show The Simpsons is to star in a BBC Radio 4 comedy called Not Today Thank You.

Harry Shearer - the voice of nuclear power plant owner Mr Burns in the hit TV series - will play Nostrils, a self-centred character.

The comedy will also feature phone-in presenter Brian Hayes as a faded radio host who tries to broadcast his show from his grandmother's basement.

Not Today Thank You will be recorded in July and is on-air from 22 August.
