Sheffield Wednesday could only manage to draw with nine-man Yeovil.

Dean Bowditch's deflected shot opened the scoring for the visitors, before the home side levelled through Gary Madine's header.

Paul Huntington nodded home a corner to restore the Glovers' lead, before Luke Ayling received a second yellow card.

Yeovil's Adam Virgo was sent off for conceding a penalty, which Giles Coke missed, before Reda Johnson levelled with a late close-range strike.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I'm obviously disappointed. We've had a lot of chances and should have probably taken them to win the game.

"It's easier standing on the touchline or sitting in the stands to say what pass to make. When you're out there it gets a bit frantic and that's what happened.

"You hope you get some breaks and there are times when you need them more then others. Obviously we could have done with them."

Yeovil Town boss Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset:
"You saw heroes out there tonight and I think you've seen one of the best displays from a goalkeeper [Stephen Henderson] in a long time.

"My team are kids and we're up against a very, very experienced team that have just been relegated that have got a massive, massive budget.

"That's got by blood going and since I've given up football and moved into management that's the first time it's happened."
