72 Pinto Sprint Package
Pinto Sprint Packages were made available on the Pinto in February 1972, coincide with similar Mustangs and Mavericks.
Sprint Decor Group includes the following equipment:
Red, White and Blue Exterior Accents. Trim Rings with Color Keyed Hubcaps. Dual Racing Mirrors. Red, White and Blue Cloth and Vinyl Bucket Seats. Full Carpeting. Deluxe 2-Spoke Steering Wheel. Stars and Stripes Decal. A78 x 13 White Sidewall Tires. And a Blackout Grille.
In the Mustang, a Package B was available. It added the Competition Suspension and the chrome Magnum 500 Wheels/F60x15 tire combination. I'm not sure if a similar Package B was available on the Pinto and Maverick.
