Hizir's son. He helps his father with the restoration of the ruins. Erhan walks like his father, talks like his father... They're two peas in a pod. About the only tellable difference is his height, which he got from his mother.
Erhan (エルハンEruhan?) is a character that appears in Sonic Unleashed. He is a human resident of Shamar and a temple repairman who works with his father to restore the ancient ruins near Shamar (on the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version his father is Hizir, and on the Wii/PlayStation 2 version it is Ehsan).

While living in Shamar, Erhan worked as a temple repairman, helping his father restoring the ancient temples outside of Shamar.
During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Erhan saw Sonic the Hedgehog and Chip when they first arrived in Shamar. As Erhan saw Sonic and Chip walking around aimlessly, he asked them what was wrong, thinking they were lost, and heard that they were looking for Professor Pickle's lab. After asking them why they did not say that sooner, Erhan led Sonic and Chip towards Professor Pickle's lab.
Sometime later, Erhan watched Sonic and Chip running around town and wondered why they would waste their energy at day and exhaust themselves before during Hallowmoon. Eventually, Erhan asked them what was wrong, though he learned that they did not know it was Hallowmoon and explained this event to them, before telling them that they would doze off before nightfall like that. During the following night, Erhan met Sonic and Chip again, where he told them to stop bothering him while he gave thanks to the Moon.
Sometime later, Erhan went out to repair the temples outside Shamar. While working, however, Erhan saw Sonic and Chip run through the temple. When Erhan returned to the town afterwards, he found Sonic and Chip, and told how he had seen them run through the temple, though he warned them that the temples could collapse any minute, before remarking that there were no end to the work on the ruins. Nevertheless, Erhan remarked that he would take his time with his work.
A while afterwards, Erhan met Sonic and Chip again, where he asked them if they had heard about the monsters terrorizing the town at night. Erhan then began describing these monsters, with one of them having "super strength and stretchy arms for punching", before noting that he thought it was a versatile and scary crew.
Some time after, Erhan returned to working on repairing the ruins. After he finished fixing a temple wall, however, the ground shook as one of the shattered earth's continents came back into place, causing Erhan's repaired wall to collapse, much to his own bemusement. Erhan returned later to the town, where he met Sonic and Chip again. Having learned that Sonic and Chip were behind the planet's reassembly, Erhan told them what happened to him at the temple because of their actions, though he assured them that he was not complaining and that they should keep up their good work. He also told them that he could keep doing his work as well and that nothing would stop him.
A while later, Erhan learned that his father, who had taken a liking to Sonic and Chip, was looking for the duo. When Erhan later met Sonic and Chip again, he told them that his father was looking for them. Before they left, however, Erhan told Sonic and Chip to just humor Hizir by listening to him, as Erhan thought that half of what Hizir said was just bellyaching, and that Hizir thought of them as his own grandsons. During the following night, Erhan was praying to the Moon, asking it to watch over Sonic and Chip, when he suddenly saw Sonic and Chip standing next to him. Erhan then admitted to Sonic and Chip that he was just as worried about them as Hizir was, before noting that repairing the planet had to be hard work and asked them to be careful.
Erhan later watched on in horror with the rest of his town as Dark Gaia began to cast the world into darkness while maturing into Perfect Dark Gaia, but later rejoiced alongside Hizir when the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat at the hands of Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus.
Wii/PlayStation 2[]
During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Erhan was told by his father Ehsan that he wanted to talk to Sonic the Hedgehog and Chip. Sometime later, Erhan found Sonic and Chip and told them that Ehsan wanted to talk to them, trying to specify who he was referring to. Erhan then told Sonic and Chip that while his father could be a bit long winded, they should not hold it against him, before telling them that Ehsan had taken a shine to them and thought of them as his own grandchildren.
Some time afterwards, Erhan had another encounter Sonic and Chip. He told the duo that Ehsan was really expecting big things from them, and remarked that though he was left in the dark because of it, he was still rooting for them.

Personality[]
Erhan has inherited several characteristics from his father, like his manner of walking and talking. Though he is pleased with his job, he can find it rather frustrating when the temples collapse.
