Blood Moon Uprising
The Blood Moon Uprising was a conflict which occurred by the High Republic Era. A phrik staff from the uprising found its way into the Jedi Archives and was among many artifacts displayed in the Starlight Pavilion during the Republic Fair on the Outer Rim planet Valo[2] in 231 BBY[1] as part of the Secrets of the Jedi exhibit curated by Jedi archivist OrbaLin.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Blood Moon Uprising was mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase I.[3] The 2022 Imperial Era-set short story "Blood Moon Uprising" by Vera Strange, published in the anthology Stories of Jedi and Sith, references the uprising in its title, but is otherwise unrelated.[4]
