Authors of the Expanded Universe
Authors of the Expanded Universe was a recurring feature in Star Wars Insider magazine written by Michael Kogge. It examined the publishing history of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, now known as Star Wars Legends, discussing authors and other contributors.
The feature debuted in Star Wars Insider 139 and continued under its recurring title through issue 156, with the exception of issues 144, 152, and 155. Those issues included similar articles on other aspects of Star Wars Legends, such as its early days and video games. The final article of the series was instead published under the subtitle "Legendary Authors".
Beginning with Star Wars Insider 157, the magazine has continued producing feature articles that examine the creation of Star Wars Legends works, but they have been presented as independent titles, abandoning the recurring "Legendary Authors" appellation.
