Mareesh

Mareesh was a male Rodian representative of Rodia in the Galactic Senate in 3653 BBY, prior to the Treaty of Coruscant which ended the stalemated Great Galactic War. Under the punitive treaty, the Sith Empire annexed Rodia and several other Republic systems.

As the Sith began their unopposed reign over the galaxy, Rodia was transferred to the Sith Empire. Due to the perceived betrayal of his homeworld, former senator Mareesh confronted the Cerean Senator Paran Am-Ris who tried to explain that the Republic had little choice since the the Empire would have destroyed Coruscant if the treaty was not signed. However, this did little to soothe Mareesh who stormed out of the Senate Tower, refusing to hear anymore excuses and leaving Am Ris and Jedi Master Zym.
