A pilot was active on Coruscant during the Clone Wars.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] he agreed to do a job running spice with the small-time criminal Rafa Martez and supplied both a starship and crew. He later backed out of the job, however, forcing Martez to turn to her younger sister Trace and her untested ship, the Silver Angel.[1]

The trial is dated to 19 BBY by Star Wars: Galactic Atlas, and the Clone Wars episode "Old Friends Not Forgotten" shows that the Siege of Mandalore takes place concurrently to the Battle of Coruscant, which Galactic Atlas also dates to that year. Therefore, the events of "Deal No Deal," including Rafa's mentioning of hiring the pilot, must also take place in 19 BBY.
