BIOGRAPHY
Born Nov. 10, 1933 in Clarksdale, MS, former Detroit singer Mack Rice made his debut at Stax at the end of 1967, thanks to Eddie Floyd. He had been a member of the Falcons along with Eddie and Wilson Pickett and had already recorded under the name of Sir Mack Rice on the Blue Rock label. After 1968, he went to Atco.
