Notes
- The introduction to the book explains the background to the UK stories collected within as well as real world events that shaped its evolution such as how Simon Furman managed to become editor whilst still being the primary writer and how the inclusion of the Headmasters mini-series was grudgingly accepted despite the tie in US reprints being some way off.[1]
- Furman's first version of the Transformers origin story is included and was apparently written without consulting the US editorial office.
- As much of the book spotlights the Marvel UK future timeline, a synopsis of The Transformers: The Movie is also included.
