Karl Franz Joseph Prinz von Preußen was born on 15 December 1916 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, GermanyG.2 He was the son of Joachim Franz Humbert Prinz von Preußen and Marie Auguste Prinzessin von Anhalt.2 He married, firstly, Henriette Hermine Wanda Ida Luise Prinzessin von Schönaich-Carolath, daughter of Johann Georg Ludwig Ferdinand August Prinz von Schönaich-Carolath and Hermine Prinzessin Reuss zu Greiz, on 1 October 1940 in a civil marriage, and were remarried 4 days later in a religious ceremony in Berlin.2 He and Henriette Hermine Wanda Ida Luise Prinzessin von Schönaich-Carolath were divorced on 5 September 1946.3 He married, secondly, Luise Dora Hartmann, daughter of Max Emil Theodor Hartmann and Dora Wandel, on 9 November 1946 at Hamburg, GermanyG.2 He and Luise Dora Hartmann were divorced in 1959.2 He married, thirdly, Dona Eva Maria Herrera y Valdeavellano, daughter of Don Norberto Herrera y Carraczo and Juana Valdeavellano y Otero, on 20 July 1959 at Lima, PeruG.2 He died on 22 January 1975 at age 58 at Arica, ChileG.2
