Luise Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Gedern was born on 13 October 1764. She was the daughter of Christian Karl Prinz zu Stolberg-Gedern and Eleonore Gräfin Reuss zu Lobenstein.² She married, firstly, August Friedrich Karl Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen, son of Anton Ulric Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen and Charlotte Amelia Caroline von Hessen-Philippsthal, on 5 June 1780 at Gedern, Germany^G.² She married, secondly, Eugen Friedrich Heinrich Herzog von Württemberg, son of Friedrich II Eugen Heinrich Herzog von Württemberg and Friederike Dorothea Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Schwedt, on 21 January 1787 at Meiningen, Thüringen, Germany^G.² She died on 24 May 1828 at age 63 at Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.²
