Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Burnett David Morier was born on 31 March 1826 at Paris, France.2 He was the son of David Richard Morier.2 He married Alice Peel, daughter of General Rt. Hon. Jonathan Peel and Lady Alicia Jane Kennedy, in 1861 at Brentford, London, England.3,4 He died on 16 November 1893 at age 67 at Montreux, Switzerland.2
     He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of Minister to Portugal between 1876 and 1881.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He held the office of Minister to Spain between 1881 and 1884.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in October 1882.2 He held the office of Ambassador to Russia between 1884 and 1893.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in February 1886.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1

Lt.-Col. Francis Wemyss

Lt.-Col. Francis Wemyss was born on 18 November 1814.1 He was the son of James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield.2 He married Selina Pye, daughter of George Pye, in 1848.1 He died in 1887.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Bengal Engineers.1
