Geoffrey Valentine Galwey was born on 5 January 1912 at India.2 He was the son of Major William Rickards Galwey and Emily Frances Valentine.1 He was born on 1 May 1912.1 He married, firstly, Vera May Miller, daughter of Joseph Miller, on 13 July 1940.1 He and Vera May Miller were divorced in 1949.1 He married, secondly, Joan Skipsey, daughter of William Skipsey, on 22 March 1951.1 He died on 17 January 1996 at age 84 at Waveney, Suffolk, England.3,2
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 In 1932 he was invalided out of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War in 1940.1 He was a director of Lovel and R. Curtis.1 He lived in 1976 at 123 Portland Road, Kensington, London, EnglandG.1
