Sir William Chichele Plowden1

Sir William Chichele Plowden married Emily Frances Anne Bass, daughter of Michael Thomas Bass and Eliza Jane Arden, on 30 September 1862.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)2 He was also known as Sir William Chichele-Plowden.2

John Stewart of Ardmaleish was the son of Sir James Stewart of Ardmaleish and Marion Fairlie.1 He married, firstly, Mary Campbell, daughter of John Campbell of Skipnish, before 1590.1 He married, secondly, Fynegella of Finevole Nik Donald MacDonald, daughter of Sir James MacDonald of Duniveg, Islay and Glenns, circa 23 January 1590.1 He married, thirdly, Jean Blair, daughter of John Blair of that Ilk and Grizel Sempill, circa 15 September 1595.1 He died circa 10 October 1612.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Bute.1 He held the office of Commissioner of Buteshire in Scottish Parliament on 20 October 1579.1

Fynegella of Finevole Nik Donald MacDonald is the daughter of Sir James MacDonald of Duniveg, Islay and Glenns.1 She married, firstly, Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael, son of Archibald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael and Margaret Campbell of Ardkinglass, before 1590.1 She married, secondly, John Stewart of Ardmaleish, son of Sir James Stewart of Ardmaleish and Marion Fairlie, circa 23 January 1590.1
     From before 1590, her married name became Campbell.1 From circa 23 January 1590, her married name became Stewart.1
