Edward John Dean Paul, 4th Bt. was born on 6 May 1831.1 He was the son of George Robert Paul and Louisa Harriet Bevan.1 He married, secondly, Eliza Monckton Ramsay, daughter of Maj.-Gen. James Ramsay and Florence Harriet Charlotte Burlton-Bennett, on 30 November 1867.2 He married, firstly, Mary Georgiana Elizabeth Brooke, daughter of Colonel Henry Vaughan Brooke and Augusta Mary Cotton, on 28 July 1864.1 He died on 18 November 1895 at age 64.2 He was also reported to have died on 15 November 1895.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Paul, of Rodburgh, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1821] on 27 June 1890.1

Lt.-Col. John Ramsay1

Lt.-Col. John Ramsay was born on 14 January 1811.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise.1 He married Kate Sinclair Laing, daughter of David Laing and Susan Sinclair, on 28 December 1852.1 He died on 23 August 1856 at age 45, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
