William Bagwell was born on 2 March 1905.1 He was the son of John Philip Bagwell and Louisa Shaw.2 He married, firstly, Evelyn Irene Hamilton Wills, daughter of Arthur James Hamilton Wills and Evelyn MacDonald Myburgh, on 6 November 1933.1 He married, secondly, Mary Lilla Perry, daughter of Captain John Perry and Lilla Minnie Bagwell, on 27 June 1972.1 He died on 23 May 1979 at age 74.3

William Bagwell, son of John Philip Bagwell and Louisa Shaw, on 6 November 1933.1 She died on 6 September 1965 at age 69.1
From 26 July 1919, her married name became Watson.1 From 6 November 1933, her married name became Bagwell.1
