Sir Adrian John Patrick Beamish was born on 21 January 1939.² He was the son of Thomas Charles Constantine Bernard Beamish and Josephine Mary Lee.¹ He married, firstly, Caroline Lipscomb, daughter of John Milman Lipscomb, on 6 March 1965.² He and Caroline Lipscomb were divorced in 1991.³ He married, secondly, Antonia Cavanagh in 1994.³ He died on 20 January 2024 at age 84.⁴
