     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in 1918 in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1

Judith Halsey was the daughter of Sir John Halsey and Judith Necton.1 She married, firstly, Sir William Barkham, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Edward Barkham, 1st Bt. and Frances Berney.1 She married, secondly, John Holsworthy on 19 June 1697 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She died circa March 1723/24.1
     Her married name became Barkham.1 From 19 June 1697, her married name became Holsworthy.1
