Reginald Bernhard Loder was born on 8 June 1864 at Sussex, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir Robert Loder, 1st Bt. and Maria Georgiana Busk.2 He married Lady Margaret Ernestine Augusta Hare, daughter of William Hare, 3rd Earl of Listowel and Lady Ernestine Mary Brudenell-Bruce, on 25 July 1895.2 He died on 28 October 1931 at age 67.2
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1899.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.2 He lived at Maidwell Hall, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.

Sir Robert Loder, 1st Bt. was born on 7 August 1823 at Germany.3 He was the son of Giles Loder and Elizabeth Higginbotham.3 He married Maria Georgiana Busk, daughter of Hans Busk and Maria Green, on 25 March 1847.3 He died on 27 May 1888 at age 64.3
He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1877.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shoreham.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex.3 He was created 1st Baronet Loder, of Whittelbury, co. Northampton and the High Beeches, Slaugham, Sussex [U.K.] on 27 July 1887.3
