Edith Jane Maclaine was born on 27 July 1877.1 She was the daughter of Murdoch Gillean Maclaine, 23rd of Lochbuie and Katherine Marian Schwabe.2 She married Edward Ralph Morris on 29 September 1911.1 She died on 25 May 1946 at age 68, without issue.1
     On 29 September 1911 her name was legally changed to Morris.1 From 29 September 1911, her married name became Mortiz.

Gillean Robert Maclaine, 25th of Lochbuie was born on 3 January 1921.1 He was the son of Kenneth Douglas Lorne Maclaine, 24th of Lochbuie and Olive Marguerite Stewart-Richardson.2 He married Noreen Olivia Beadon, daughter of Colonel Vernon Beadon, on 22 April 1943.1 He died on 5 May 1970 at age 49.1
     He was educated at Clayesmore School, Iwerne Minster, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945, in the Fleet Air Arm, the Gilder Pilot Regiment and Popski's Private Army, serving in Sicily, Normandy and Arnhem.1 He held the office of Member of the Blairgowrie Town Council between 1947 and 1950.1 He was a sales manager for Seagrams Whiskey.1 He emigrated to South Africa arriving on 1950.1 He was appointed Fellow, Insitute of Directors in 1958.1 He was managing director of Highland Bonding Pty Co Ltd between 1964 and 1969 at Durban, Natal, South Africa.1 He was Export Sales Manager for Scottish and Newcastle Breweries Ltd between 1969 and 1970.1
