Reverend Ernest Hilton Molesworth was born on 11 June 1858.1 He was the son of Reverend Rennell Francis Wynn Molesworth and Eleanor Jane Hilton.2 He married, firstly, Adeline King, daughter of Reverend Charles King, on 6 July 1886.1 He married, secondly, Hilda Cramp, daughter of James Cramp, in 1909.2 He died on 20 October 1931 at age 73.2
He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was Vicar between 1916 and 1923 at Bures, Suffolk, England.1
