Major Charles St. Aubyn Wake was born on 9 February 1861.1 He was the son of Admiral Charles Wake and Emma St. Aubyn.2 He died on 22 November 1938 at age 77, unmarried.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 18th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles and 3rd Battalion, Devon Regiment.1 He fought in the Uganda Campaign between 1897 and 1898, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1899.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Suffolk Regiment.1 He was Recruiting Officer for Bristol during the First World War.1 He was Vice-Consul at Mombasa.1

Lt.-Col. Edward St. Aubyn Wake was born on 20 July 1862.1 He was the son of Admiral Charles Wake and Emma St. Aubyn.2 He married Vera Cecilia Johnston, daughter of Francis Johnston, on 12 June 1913.1 He died on 20 October 1944 at age 82.1
He fought in the Burma Campaign between 1885 and 1886.1 He fought in the Samana Expedition in 1897, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Tirah Expedition between 1897 and 1898, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Medal 1st class.1 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1911.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 21st Service Battalion, Middlesex Regiment and Indian Army.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1
