Captain Alan Fitzroy Campbell was born in November 1903 at Lambeth, London, England.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Maxwell Campbell and Hilda Mary Wade.2 He married Margaret Campbell, daughter of Sir Nigel Leslie Campbell and Henriette Russell, on 29 July 1931.3 He died on 19 February 1956 at age 52 at Widford Hall, Chelmsford, Essex, England.1
     He was commissioned on 15 January 1924 with the rank of A/Sub-Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December 1925.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December 1933.1 He gained the rank of Commander on 31 December 1938.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1943.3 He gained the rank of Captain on 31 December 1944.1

Rear-Admiral James Douglas Campbell was born on 2 September 1882 at Airds Bay, Argyllshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Colonel Frederick Campbell and Emilie Guillaumine Maclaine.1 He married Lilian Alice Outerbridge, daughter of Sir Joseph Outerbridge, on 11 February 1911.2 He died on 23 April 1954 at age 71.1
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.2 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1920.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1932 and 1933.2 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral.2
