Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc.
(branded as TBS Television) is a TV station in Tokyo note , serving as the flagship station of their Japan News Network (JNN), call sign JORX-DTV (formerly JOKR-TV until 2001), operating on Channel 6 and is a subsidiary of TBS Holdings.
Established in 1961, TBS Television is notable for airing many popular anime series and game shows, as well as being the home of the Ultra Series prior to the 2010s.
Several of its anime titles are produced by Osaka-based affiliate Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS).
Not to be confused with the American cable network TBS.
