Devil May Cry 3
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is a 2005 action-adventure game published by Capcom. Seeking to win back fans after the lackluster reception to Devil May Cry 2, director Hideaki Itsuno went to straight to work on a sequel that returned to the tight level design and high difficulty of the first game. Additionally, the usual hack and slash combat had its speed increased dramatically, which along with the new "Style" mechanic that allowed players to experiment with different gameplay abilities for Dante, all of which combined to create a faster and even more varied title than its predecessors, thus codifying the "Stylish Action" subgenre.
