Comic Genesis
is/was a free Webcomic service based in Cresbard, South Dakota. It was an offshoot of its "premium" service, KeenSpot and was founded in 2000 as Keenspace. The name was changed in 2004 to keep it from getting confused with its sister site. Comic Genesis allowed users to upload and organize their own webcomics. While the site required FTP and HTML knowledge of said users, it was nevertheless one of the most popular services of its type, and during its heyday it was one of the most influential entities in webcomics.
However, by 2019, the site had become an Internet Ghost Town, with only a handful of active comics and deteriorating services. The latter problem led to an extended multi-month breakdown of the CG update system, which in turn prompted a final migration of most remaining clients. As of January 2024, the site remains technically active, and its archives are still online.

- Carried by the Wind - launched on Keenspace. Later acquired its own site but stopped updating in 2005. Its own domain expired in 2013, so its archive can now be found only at Comic Genesis.

- Concession was formerly on Comic Genesis.
- Cry 'Havoc'
- Dasien originated on Comic Genesis, but later moved to its own host. In 2023, the creator announced a reboot, Space Honeys.
- The Easy Breather
- El Goonish Shive was initially on Comic Genesis, then promoted to KeenSpot, before eventually moving to its own host.

- Head Trip - formerly on Comic Genesis, now on KeenSpot.
