"The future of virtual entertainment is here"
Idol Corp, often shortened to idol, is a Virtual YouTuber agency based in Israel, which was founded to provide "a supportive and encouraging environment, empower their talents to be bold and explore their creativity." It was founded by Aviel Basin, who served as CEO from its founding to August 2024.
On August 1st, 2024, Idol was acquired by Brave Group, the parent company of fellow VTuber agencies V4Mirai and Globie, and Basin stepped down as CEO.
The Virtual Youtuber generations consist of:
- idolEN Genesis (formerly known as idol Origin/idolHE): The initial starting group of VTubers, based in Israel, that debuted around May 10th of 2022. The group consists of Kattarina Qutie and Nikki Rei, with former members Lily Sin, Emi Suika, and Neo Sparkles, who all graduated on amicable terms. On March 17, 2024, the branch was folded into EN proper.
- E-Sekai: idol's first EN generation, which debuted around November 20, 2022. The group consists of Juna Unagi, Rin Penrose and Fuyo Cloverfield, with former members, Pochi Wanmaru and Yuko Yurei graduating in early-to-mid 2024. Following the acquisition, the remaining three talents agreed to leave the company in November 2024, keeping their IP and models.
- Star: A side project of EN, consisting of only one member, Riro Ron, portrayed by indie Spanish-Russian vTuber kyOresu
◊, who debuted on February 16, 2023, and was terminated on November 28th.
- Endless: idol's second EN generation, which debuted around June 14, 2023. The group consists of Roca Rourin, Poko Rakun, Kai Saikota, Coni Confetti, and Momo Otako. Following the acquisition, Momo announced she would retire that persona, but would remain with the company under a new one.
- EternalS: idol's first ES generation, comprised of Meica05 - the first idol talent to join the agency while retaining their prior identity - , Akugaki Koa, Ruby Runeheart, Lalabell Lullaby and Taiga Toragami. They debuted on May 5th, 2024.
- ENCORE: Another EN side project, comprised of Enya Ignis, Shabel Tonya, and Chikafuji Lisa. Like Meica, Tonya and Lisa retain their previous identities, while Enya's prior identity is public knowledge. They debuted on May 11th, 2024.
- Wildfyre: idol's third EN generation, comprised of Daisy Dandelion, Cersea Soulstorm, Riki Poppet and Yena Youngblood. They were announced on May 31st, 2024 at that year's OffKai Expo, and debuted on October 19th, 2024.

idol contains the following tropes:
- all lowercase letters: Although some pages refer to the company and group as "Idol Corp.", its official, stylized name is "idol", all in lowercase.
- Artifact Title: idol's initial group started out as idolHE, short for Hebrew, owning to their origin in Israel. However, due to the very niche market for Hebrew VTubers, along with the success of idolEN, they would choose to rebrand idolHE as idol Origin, and later idolEN Genesis to better integrate them with the now predominately EN-catering agency.
- Breakout Character: Rin Penrose, member of idol's first EN generation, who rapidly gained followers via her funny shorts and ended up as idol's most successful VTuber, whose subscriber count outnumbers everyone else's combined.
- Cast Herd: Compared with some of the bigger agencies, idol doesn't have many talents, with only 22 active talents as of now. Even so, the cast is separated into six generations (Genesis, E-Sekai, Endless, EternalS, ENCORE, and Wildfyre).
- Cast of Snowflakes: All members have some unique designs and backstories, all designed by the talents themselves with the help of professional artists hired by idol.
- Fantasy Kitchen Sink: While every character has a human-like appearance, their origins and designs vary. There are normal humans like a mafia boss or a member of royalty, and then there are eels, dragons, and aliens.
- Idol Singer: Subverted. Although most, if not all, of its members can sing or produce music-related content, the purpose behind idol's brand name isn't this trope, according to its CEO.
- Multinational Team: Based out of Israel and their first generation was originally a separate branch known as idolHE containing only Israeli members. The EN branch contains members from not only the US and UK but also France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico etc. in addition to the two remaining members of the HE branch. Even the ES branch has considerably variety among its speakers.
- Omniglot: Due to the Multinational Team nature of idol, there are bound to be members able to speak in multiple languages. Almost every member can speak English, with even Lallabel speed-learning the language on duolingo prior to debuting and continuing to improve, while there are also members who have some fluency (if not completely fluent) in Hebrew, Spanish, Russian and many other languages. Most of the ES girls have a good grasp of two or even three languages.
- Ship Of Theseus: The agency effectively became this after being acquired by Brave; aside from Nikki Rei, none of the original talents from Origin/Genesis or E-Sekai will remain at the company beyond 2024.
