A web cartoon mini-series created by Jeremy Mess
in the vein of the animated buddy comedy. The series follows the titular blob duo; Root, a purple, bunny-like blob, and Digby, a floating, green blob, and their adventures through... the internet?
The show's main focus is discussing current events and pop culture in a gag-filled, lighthearted episode. The show currently has more than 20 minisodes.
Root and Digby provides examples of:
- Affectionate Nickname: Digby is nicknamed "Dibbles" by Root.
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Root. Has ordered a box ladybugs with their house insurance among others.
- Platonic Life-Partners: The titular duo. As far as we know, they aren't dating.
- Shout-Out: Being about the internet and pop culture in general, this is bound to happen.
- "How to be Popular on YouTube's" thumbnail is a reference to h3h3productions.
- "Cyberbullied" references Leafy is Here.
- Root has played both Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and Undertale
- Floyd plays with a Virtual Boy.
